I suggest you get McAfee VirusScan from http://www.mcafee.com it is, in my opinion, the best virus scanner on the market today. However, for a free alternative get AVG from http://www.download.com

You can get AntiVir from http://www.free-av.com/ or AVG from http://www.grisoft.com/
I had something called AVG antivirus installed on my computer. It got rid of all the viruses that had been installed (by the way I would not get the Norton Antivirus, this had actually helped put a virus on my computer).

I would also recommend the Microsoft anti-spyware to.
