my pc is working with window xp sp2.suddenly i have noticed a tray iconwhich glows into green/red alternatively and flashing a msg. yer. pc is infected wih lotof spyware;remove them with our programme. I ran my antivirus software and found nothing serious.i searched "add/remove and found no new installation.when i click (left/right) i get a websiteprompting me download an antispyware software.pl. let me know how to getrid of this nuicence?

I have this great program called Ccleaner it's free and it really helps clean junk on the computer, also I have AVG 7.5 antivirus It's really good. (If you have anymore questions feel free to ask)
Click Start, Run, msconfig, then the StartUp Tab, and Uncheck the odd Unknown ones from there and then Turn System Restore Off, Disconnect from the Internet, and Boot into Safe Mode, and then Scan, and see what you find then, You have an embedded Trojan... Good Luck
if you put the mouse pointer over it, it should tell you what it is then you can go into the start up list and disable it. Click Start then Run then type in msconfig then click ok then click the Start UP tab then find the line that matches and uncheck it depending on if you think it should be disabled and not part of any software that you have loaded to protect your system or you have completely had enough of the waste of system resources.
That is a spyware itself!!! DO NOT DOWNLOAD anything.

Try to go into Control Panel -%26gt; Add/Remove Programs and get rid of it. If you can provide the name of the sypware it will be of great help because different spywares install themselves differently.
