Outlook Express seems to have a memory leak... It freezes up when I go to delete a message.?

I'm using Outlook Express at work, and the boss is wanting me to delete messages in the outbox folder. Everything seems to work fine until I click on it, and once I do, I notice that in the Task manager the memory usage soars and eventually everything slows down to null and eventually freezes. I've gone through some of the options and ran antivirus software (Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition) and it doesn't detect anything. In fact, the computer runs at perfect capacity. Any help or advice is warranted.

Since all the troubles with Outlook express, look for another email software, Its bad software.
